The Association is a non-governmental organization which is constituted at the initiative of three or more individuals or legal persons in order to achieve certain activities of general interest and personal interest.

The initial patrimony of the Association is the equivalent of minimum wage per economy. After acquiring legal personality, the initial property in cash  of the Association can be transferred to the current account, where it will be used for payments in the interest of the Association.

For the incorporation of an association you will require the following:

  • Copy the Identity Card/Passport of founding members (minimum 3)
  • Copy of Contract of the headquarters of the Association
  • Identification data of (co) owners
  • Record of each tax founding member
  • The name of the Association.

The time limit for lodging an association is 45 days – at which point the Association will be fully functional. Getting the court decision concerning the disposition of registration in the register of associations and foundations is made in 21 days, but because of the procedures that must be met in order for it to remain a final ruling, the term gets to 45 days.
